Vecna Robotics fights a daily battle convincing supply chain management to swap out “dumb” forklifts—the devil they know—for intelligent, autonomous robots. To coax target accounts into being more open-minded we asked them to remember the wonder of a transformative technology from their youth—the ascendance of video games in American 80’s and 90’s pop culture.

We harnessed Pac-Man, the most popular game ever, and created a thematic mail package that invites recipients to get nostalgic and imagine what’s possible. The campaign transitions seamlessly online to personalized URLs that feature journey-stage appropriate content and CTAs from sales.

Recipients received a hand-held packman console as an endearing gift inside a box with artwork that transports the ubiquitous Pac-Man characters into the warehouse environment where targets operate. A personalized card directs recipients to their PURL.

In sync with the package delivery an email nurture hit in-boxes, providing more detail to qualify the offer within a target’s specific vertical and warehousing environment. The list was also segmented by journey stage with unique content to introduce Vecna to new prospects or push along those already in the funnel who had stalled.
